Administration and support for the department are provide by PMB departmental staff, the College of Natural Resources and UC Berkeley Shared Services.

PMB staff focuses on faculty administration and support, faculty human resources, web site and communications, and graduate student advising and support.

The College of Natural Resources administration handles facilities management, limited computer support and package delivery.

UC Berkeley Shared Services handles many administrative support functions, including research administration, computer desktop support, business contracts, payroll and human resources.
