I'm a fourth year undergraduate student studying Landscape Architecture. I help maintain our department website, take photos of our awesome lab members, and help design print material for department use. Its my job to make your life easier, so please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything I can do.
With Photoshop I can optimize photos for web by both enhancing image color and quality while keeping them at sizes that won't weigh down the site load time.
I use Photoshop for photo touch ups and for designing fliers and posters.
With InDesign, we can create a variety of text best projects for either print or web. Brochures, booklets, posters and fliers are a few of the many applications for this program.
You can see many of my photos on the PMB website, on many of our YouTube videos, and also a few here, on my personal website.
I grew up in Westchester, California, which is the city home to LAX, and graduated from high school in Redondo Beach. I've been working at PMB for nearly three years now and I am about to enter my Senior year here at Cal.
I enjoy design and photo, and also paint, illustrate, and dabble in poetry in my free time. I play piano by ear, and speak Japanese, Spanish, and a little Mandarin.
My favorite color is blue, and my favorite flower is the chrysanthemum. I tend to order the same thing when I go to restaurants, and if I had my own dog I would name it something random like "Pickle".
My absolute favorite book of all time is Salad Anniversary by Machi Tawara (「サラダ記念日」俵万智). I highly highly highly recommend the Juliet Winters Carpenter translation, and urge you NOT to read the Jack Stamm translation (its horrible).
I am deathly afraid of spiders and blood.
